
Brianne McLaughlin
After growing up in Sheffield Village, Ohio, Brianne attended and played four years at Robert Morris University of College Hockey America, where she set an NCAA record with 3,809 career saves. During her four years playing collegiately, Brianne stopped 3,809 of the 4,188 shots she faced, resulting in a .910 save percentage. In the 2010 CWHL Draft, Brianne was drafted 24th overall by the Burlington Barracudas. Currently a member of the United States Women’s National Ice Hockey Team, she made her Olympic debut at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, a 12-1 victory over China. With Brianne’s help, the United States Women would go on to take home the Silver Medal in Vancouver, after losing to rival Canada in the Gold Medal game. Earlier in 2011, she would help the US Women capture the Gold Medal at the Women’s Ice Hockey World Championships in Switzerland.
